Extra children at a booking?Updated 7 months ago
Parents are reminded that their Sitters account should only list their own children. However, from time to time, you may find that there are extra children present at a booking you’re attending.
If parents choose to host children other than their own during the booking, whether in a hotel or a home environment, we advise the parents to provide their sitter with all necessary information and cooperation to facilitate these bookings and remind them the sitter will be under their direct instruction.
As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, parents are responsible for informing you of any changes to the number of children you are expecting to look after, before the booking begins.
If you're notified about additional children after the booking has been confirmed, you are welcome to request a small adjustment in pay as a gesture of goodwill. We suggest an additional £1.00 per hour for the first extra child, and 50p per hour for each child after that. Parents can add this adjustment in the "Tips/extras" section of the payment screen at the end of the booking.
Ultimately, it's important that you do your best to accommodate the family's needs for a successful booking, within reason.
