What if I have to cancel a booking?Updated a year ago

We understand that everyone will occasionally have the need to cancel a booking but we do closely monitor booking cancellations. If you accept a booking and later find you're unable to attend for reasons beyond your control (eg illness or a family emergency), please let us know as soon as possible via the Sitters app and we'll acknowledge this with an email.

Before you accept any booking, please always check that you WILL be available. Check the details of the booking, including the location and how you plan to travel there. 

Whilst we understand that there are occasions when you have no option but to cancel, please remember that you have made a commitment to the family concerned. If you cancel, we may not be able to find a replacement childcarer and you will have let the family down.

If you cancel bookings more often than other Sitters childcarers, you may receive fewer job offers from Sitters.
