How are sitters selected for a booking?Updated a year ago

When a parent makes a booking, they have the option to choose which sitter attends the booking. 

We allow more than one sitter to apply for a booking, giving priority to any that are on the family’s list of favourites or that they’ve met before.

We'll always contact the family's Top 3 Favourites first (in order from 1st to 3rd Favourite), before contacting other Favourites to ask if they're available for the booking. We’ll then reach out to other approved sitters local to the family.

When you apply for a job offer, we'll email you and send a push notification if you've been successful. You'll receive an email if your application was unsuccessful.

You can check the status of your bookings at any time via the Sitters app in My Bookings.
